To visit Salamis ruins is a must on any trip to North Cyprus! Salamis is a thousand years old ancient town, once the capital of the island. The ruins cover an area of one square mile and the view of the ancient remains are truly breathtaking. Here you find impressive marble floors, columns and even statues which are still intact! You can walk around for hours soaking up the history.
